I'm about to graduate with a Master's degree in Interaction Design from Carnegie Mellon University. I've been exposed to a "research through design" approach here. I've learned how to understand human needs through quantitative data and qualitative research, how to use design strategies to decode complex information, and how to envision and prototype interactions of products, services, and systems.
